History
The Commissioner's Report for 1949 states that a Public Library was established on Ragged Island in 1940. The librarian in 1949 was Ms Hazel Wallace.
The Commissioner reports in 1961 that the library was located in a private room that was rented by the government. It was open to the public 4-6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
At present there is no library on Ragged Island.
